Připadal si jako zhypnotizovaný. Ovládaný na dálku. Tělo bez duše. Ztráta kontroly. Lidé okolo si mysleli, že je prokletý. Míval děsivé noční můry. Sebedestrukce. Teď tu sedí a drží v ruce žiletku. Přejíždí prstem po ostří a šeptá děsivá slova o smrti. Všichni jej opustili. Nikdo jej nemá rád. Jeho duše se bude toulat navěky mezi naším a oním světem. Nikdy nenajde klid. Stejně jako vy, když budete poslouchat nové album portugalských tmářů UNDERSAVE.

S tvorbou kapely se setkávám poprvé a musel jsem si doplnit celou diskografii. Pánové mají na svém kontě ještě jedno EP, demo a dvě dlouhohrající alba. Všechny rozhodně stojí za pozornost. Portugalci vás strhnou do hlubiny. Jejich smrtící kov je temný, divoký a disonantní. Jako myšlenky na sebevraždu.

Pokud bych měl napsat jména smeček, kterými se UNDERSAVE volně inspirovali, volil bych kapely jako ULCERATE, IMMOLATION, REPLICANT, MAERE, GORGUTS. Rovnou dodám, že je nutné dát novince čas a klid. Jednotlivé nuance vyplavou na povrch jako těla utopenců až po nějakém čase. Opravdu musíte mít bohatou fantazii a vkus pro černé myšlenky. Rozhodně to není lehký poslech. Na druhou stranu je skvělé, že i po mnoha společných setkáních stále objevuji nová temná zákoutí. Komplikované, naléhavé, mnohdy "nepříjemné" melodie vás postupně uhranou, stanou se pro vás nutností. Mají v sobě určitý neklid, zvláštní atmosféru, která se vám postupně dostane pod kůži i do podvědomí. Pánové na to jdou ostře, moc se ničím nepářou, ale nezapomínají ani na chlad a temnotu. Dívám se do tmy a přemýšlím, jak zoufalý musí být člověk, který vezme do rukou žiletku. Ke vzájemnému přenosu mezi mnou a kapelou došlo tentokrát postupně, pomalu. Jakoby se mi dostával do žil jed. Vždycky jsem přišel domů, unaven z běžného pracovního dne. Zhasl jsem všechna světla a pustil si "Merged In Abstract Perdition". Srdce mi začalo postupně tepat v jiném rytmu. Vzduchem létaly jako zběsilé podivné, děsivé nálady. Mraky se dotýkaly země a já najednou nebyl ve svém pokoji, ale stál jsem nad propastí. Mám skočit, vznášet se, rozpadnout se na tisíc kusů? Ne, raději si užiju tuhle nahrávku. Má totiž parádní zvuk, motiv na obalu, ale hlavně velkou spoustu nápadů, které mě baví poslouchat. Budete roztrháni zevnitř! Temný, syrový a chladný disonantní death metal s příchutí zkažené krve!

This is my first encounter with the band's work, and I had to complete their entire discography. The gentlemen have one more EP, a demo, and two full-length albums to their credit. All of them are definitely worth your attention. The Portuguese will drag you into the depths. Their deadly metal is dark, wild, and dissonant. Like thoughts of suicide.

If I had to name the bands that UNDERSAVE loosely drew inspiration from, I would choose bands such as ULCERATE, IMMOLATION, REPLICANT, MAERE, and GORGUTS. I will add right away that it is necessary to give this new release time and peace. The individual nuances will surface like drowned bodies after some time. You really need to have a rich imagination and a taste for dark thoughts. It's definitely not easy listening. On the other hand, it's great that even after many encounters, I'm still discovering new dark corners. The complicated, urgent, often "unpleasant" melodies will gradually captivate you and become a necessity. They have a certain restlessness, a strange atmosphere that gradually gets under your skin and into your subconscious. The gentlemen go at it hard, they don't mess around, but they don't forget the cold and darkness either. I look into the darkness and wonder how desperate a person must be to pick up a razor blade. This time, the mutual transfer between me and the band happened gradually, slowly. It was as if poison was getting into my veins. I always came home tired from a normal working day. I turned off all the lights and played "Merged In Abstract Perdition". My heart gradually began to beat to a different rhythm. Strange, terrifying moods flew through the air like mad. The clouds touched the ground, and suddenly I was no longer in my room, but standing above an abyss. Should I jump, float, or fall apart into a thousand pieces? No, I'd rather enjoy this recording. It has great sound, a cool cover, but most importantly, a lot of ideas that I enjoy listening to. You will be torn apart from within! Dark, raw, and cold dissonant death metal with a taste of rotten blood!
