Mezi kamennými zdmi chrámu bolesti se vznáší strach. Hlavní velekněz, šílený psychopat a predátor, pomalu zvedá svoji ruku. Kdo bude další na řadě? Vybírá si podle momentální nálady. Nebožák je vyděšený k smrti a možná ani necítí, jak mu zajíždí rezavý nůž do břicha. Umírá pomalu, za zvuků pradávných černých modliteb. Kult ohně a nenávisti. Tradice, předávaná z otce na syna. Navenek všichni působí seriózně, mile a usměvavě. Jsou úspěšní. Jakmile se ale setmí, začnou toužit po krvi. Mají moc a prostředky. Vítejte v říši zla!
Jakákoliv víra, která se stane slepou je, zlá. Vím to já, píše se o tom po staletí v učených knihách a moc dobře to ví i italští démoni NECROMORBID. Důkazem budiž jejich třetí dlouhohrající album v řadě. Opět se jedná o nechutný koktejl rouhání, satanismu, anti-křesťanství a hlavně black death metalu té nejvyšší kvality.
Nové album muselo být nahráváno hluboko v podzemí, hned vedle vchodu do pekla. Jednotlivé skladby jsou sežehlé ďábelským plamenem. Motivy mokvají a uvrhnou vás do hluboké hladomorny. Budete mučeni ostrými, nekompromisními riffy, surovou atmosférou, divokými bicími i výkřiky raněné šelmy. Italové jsou ve skvělé formě a pokud máte tuhle odrůdu black a death metalu rádi, tak rozhodně neváhejte a uspořádejte černou mši v jejich přítomnosti. Osobně se mi líbí nejen nasazení celé kapely, tlak, nahrubo nasekaná tma a šílenství, které ze songů odkapávají jako zkažená krev, ale také chladné a temné melodie, které pobublávají v pozadí jako čerstvě proříznutá tepna. Smrt je při poslechu opravdu velmi blízko, cítím doslova její fyzickou přítomnost. NECROMORBID jsou jako vyslanci samotného pekla, jako jezdci apokalypsy, kteří přijeli ze záhrobí, aby se pomstili za všechna příkoří, která jim byla způsobena. Hlavní a zásadní potom pro mě je, že se rád k nahrávce vracím. Obzvláště takhle v k večeru, když se pomalu stmívá a mraky jsou nízko. Očekávám bouři a ve vzduchu je elektrické chvění. V těchto momentech utíkám na starý hřbitov za městem, neustále přidávám hlasitost a umírám touhou po tom, abych už byl součástí pradávné krvavé mše. "Ceremonial Demonslaught" je albem, které v sobě obsahuje ty nejlepší ingredience. Pokud máte rádi kapely typu DEOCLETIAN, DIABOLIC, MORBOSIDAD, DIOCLETIAN, BLASPHEMY, BLACK WITCHERY, REVENGE, potom vítejte v podsvětí. Mezi kamennými zdmi chrámu bolesti se vznáší strach. Any faith that becomes blind is evil. I know this; it has been written about for centuries in scholarly books, and the Italian demons NECROMORBID know it all too well. Proof of this is their third full-length album in a row. Once again, it’s a disgusting cocktail of blasphemy, Satanism, anti-Christianity, and above all, black death metal of the highest quality.
This new album must have been recorded deep underground, right next to the gates of hell. Each track is scorched by a devilish flame. The riffs are raw and will plunge you into a deep dungeon. You will be tortured by sharp, uncompromising riffs, a raw atmosphere, wild drums, and the screams of a wounded beast. The Italians are in great form, and if you like this variety of black and death metal, don’t hesitate to hold a black mass in their presence. Personally, I love not only the band’s intensity, the pressure, the brutally chopped-up darkness, and the madness that drips from the songs like rotten blood, but also the cold, dark melodies that bubble in the background like a freshly severed artery. Death feels very close while listening; I can literally feel its physical presence. NECROMORBID are like emissaries from hell itself, like horsemen of the apocalypse who have come from the afterlife to take revenge for all the injustices done to them. The main and most important thing for me, though, is that I love coming back to this album. Especially in the evening like this, when it’s slowly getting dark and the clouds hang low. I sense a storm coming, and there’s an electric tremor in the air. In moments like these, I run to the old cemetery outside town, cranking up the volume, dying to be part of that ancient, bloody ritual. "Ceremonial Demonslaught" is an album that contains the very best ingredients. If you like bands like DEOCLETIAN, DIABOLIC, MORBOSIDAD, DIOCLETIAN, BLASPHEMY, BLACK WITCHERY, REVENGE, then welcome to the underworld. Fear hangs heavy within the stone walls of the temple of pain.
