Desítky roztrhaných mrtvol, naskládaných na hromadu. Vyděšené tváře, hořící domy a mezi nimi se procházejí ďáblové se zbraněmi v rukou. Usmívají se. Jsou krmeni bolestí svých obětí, nenávistí a strachem. Kdysi dávno to byli normální lidé se svými sny. Jenže válka všechno změnila. Jakoby na povrch vylezly ty nejtemnější pudy. Začali toužit po čerstvé krvi, stali se bestiemi. Oheň byl znovu zapálen. Díváš se na rozšklebené tváře obětí a umíráš zevnitř. Je tu nové album surových death metalistů z Milwaukee.

Krvavou cestu těchto maniaků sleduji od jejich počátků. Důkazem budiž odkazy na recenze, které naleznete dole pod dnešním článkem. Pánové pokračují tam, kde minule přestali, ve válečné zóně. Jejich smrtící kov je nekompromisní, ostrý a divoký. Je jako puška s upilovanou hlavní, která vám vystřelí mozek z hlavy. Nic pro slabé povahy, tohle je hudba, která k nám přišla ze samotného pekla.

PIG´S BLOOD se stále pohybují v podobných oblastech jako kapely typu BLASPHEMY, REVENGE, DEICIDE, ORDER FROM CHAOS, INCANTATION, ARCHGOAT. Původní morbidní myšlenky nadále rozvíjejí, doplňují je o svoje nápady a invenci. Výsledkem jejich snažení je album, které zabíjí na potkání. Když zapnete play na svém přehrávači, tak za sebou také zavřete rezavou bránu do pekla. Ocitnete se v prašivých katakombách, hluboko pod zemí. Sem jsou pohřbíváni zaživa zvrácení a prokletí, vrazi i všichni ti, kteří za svého života vypalovali vesnice nevinných. Skladby jsou velmi násilné, divoké a nespoutané, mají v sobě pradávnou primitivní death metalovou energii a tlak. Zvukově je nové album velmi dobře ošetřeno (Greg Wilkinson - mixing, mastering) a motiv na obalu, pod kterým je podepsán Alex Shadrin krásně doplňuje celkovou atmosféru nahrávky. Tahle smečka prašivých psů útočí napřímo, rovnou na solar plexus, způsobí vám zástavu srdce, zakope vás několik metrů pod zem, roztrhá vás na krvavé cáry masa. Začnete hnít zaživa a stanete se svým vlastním stínem. Posednou vás démoni temnoty a začnou bolet staré rány. Líbí se mi přístup kapely, jejich melodie, ohlodané až na kost, užívám si pochmurné nálady, oceňuji opravdovost, ryzost, uvěřitelnost a naprostou autenticitu. "Destroying the Spirit" je přesně tím druhem alba, které spálí vaši tělo i duši na popel. Lidská historie je plná násilí, válek, hnusu a špíny. Když novinku poslouchám, tak si to plně uvědomuji. Najednou nesedím ve svém pokoji u přehrávače, ale jsem v jedné vesnici. Přede mnou někdo právě zapálil hromadu mrtvol. Troufám si tvrdit, že se novinka povedla po všech stránkách. Syrová death metalová lavina z kostí, lebek a zkažené krve! Album, které vám vystřelí mozek z hlavy!

PIG’S BLOOD continue to operate in the same vein as bands like BLASPHEMY, REVENGE, DEICIDE, ORDER FROM CHAOS, INCANTATION, and ARCHGOAT. They further develop their original morbid concepts, enriching them with their own ideas and creativity. The result of their efforts is an album that kills on sight. When you hit play on your player, you’ll also be closing the rusty gate to hell behind you. You’ll find yourself in filthy catacombs, deep underground. This is where the depraved and the damned, murderers, and all those who burned innocent villages during their lifetimes are buried alive. The songs are extremely violent, wild, and unbridled, possessing an ancient, primitive death metal energy and intensity. Sonically, the new album is very well produced (Greg Wilkinson – mixing, mastering), and the cover art, signed by Alex Shadrin, beautifully complements the overall atmosphere of the recording. This pack of mangy dogs attacks head-on, straight to the solar plexus; they’ll cause your heart to stop, bury you several meters underground, and tear you into bloody shreds of flesh. You’ll begin to rot alive and become a shadow of your former self. The demons of darkness will possess you, and old wounds will begin to ache. I like the band’s approach, their melodies stripped down to the bone; I enjoy the gloomy moods, and I appreciate the sincerity, purity, believability, and absolute authenticity. "Destroying the Spirit" is exactly the kind of album that will burn your body and soul to ashes. Human history is full of violence, wars, filth, and squalor. When I listen to this new release, I am fully aware of that. Suddenly, I’m not sitting in my room by the stereo, but in a village. Someone has just set a pile of corpses on fire right in front of me. I dare say that this new release is a success in every way. A raw death metal avalanche of bones, skulls, and rotten blood! An album that will blow your brains out!
