Vstáváš velmi brzy a pochoduješ temnými ulicemi. Nasáváš ze vzduchu síru, zplodiny a zkažený vzduch. Pracuješ v podmínkách, ve kterých kdysi dávno zavírali prokleté. Umíráš zaživa, rozpadáš se v prach, hniješ zevnitř. Ocelové město a továrna, ve které jednou zamřeš v zapomnění. Jsou vás stovky, tisíce novodobých otroků. Ve jménu pokroku odléváš další zbraně, které v různých koutech světa budou zabíjet. Domů přicházíš vyčerpaný a jediné, co zvládneš, tak je pár piv a brutální death metal. Potřebuješ si propláchnout hlavu něčím, co ti očistí mysl od zbytečností. Němečtí RESURRECTED z průmyslového města Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia jsou zpět a opět svojí muzikou lámou kosti na potkání.
Historie téhle kapely sahá až do roku 1993. Veteráni jako já určitě pamatují jejich dlouhohrající debut "Raping Whores". Schválně si jej pusťte a porovnejte s letošní novinkou. Dle mého skromného úsudku pánové nikdy neuhnuli ze své krvavé cesty. I tentokrát jsou suroví, ostří a nekompromisní. Stále zabíjejí hudbou a ze skladeb je cítit nadšení pro temnotu a naprosté lidské zlo. Nutno rovnou dodat, že během času pánové nikdy neztratili na intenzitě. Stále jsou opravdoví, reální, divocí, nespoutaní a naprosto autentičtí. Jako toxické látky v odpadní vodě vašeho města.
Pracuji také ve velké továrně a moc dobře znám její zákonitosti, chladné stroje, lidi s dávno mrtvým pohledem. Dav pochodující ranní tmou. Jsem jedním z nich, jen s tím rozdílem, že si pokaždé rvu do hlavy pod tlakem nové album "Perpetual". Němci na něm zúročili všechny své zkušenosti a novinka na mě působí velmi morbidně, elegantně. Potkává se na ní takový ten staroškolský feeling s technikou a naprostou oddaností kruté smrti. Jednotlivé melodie i riffy jsou velmi promyšlené, mají v sobě potřebný drive, sílu, nakumulovaný vztek a pradávnou patinu, která se dle mého nedá naučit, musíte jí mít v sobě, musíte hrát srdcem. Pokud bychom si měli pohovořit o zvuku, tak ten je náležitě masivní, surový, ale také dobře čitelný a nepostrádá potřebnou temnou a chladnou atmosféru. Možná mě jednou roztrhá na kusy smečka rozzuřených psů na periferii našeho města, ale než se tak stane, tak budu tuhle nahrávku poslouchat stále dokola. Má v sobě totiž vše, co po tomto stylu vyžaduji, chci a co mi dělá dobře na mé zkažené duši. Je ohlodaná na kost, jde k samé podstatě extrémní hudby. Zároveň je velmi promyšlená, nespoutaná a evokuje ve mě spoustu pochmurných emocí. Pokud jste fanoušci třeba takových CANNIBAL CORPSE, SUFFOCATION, MORBID ANGEL, MONSTROSITY, OBSCENITY, SINISTER, VOMITORY, potom vám doporučuji přidat volume úplně doprava a nechat se strhnout do hlubiny. RESURRECTED jsou letos ve skvělé formě, to vám klidně podepíšu vlastní krví. Umíráme zaživa, rozpadáme se v prach, hnijeme zevnitř. Temný, surový brutální death metal s příchutí zkažené krve! Absolutní masakr!

You get up very early and march through the dark streets. You breathe in the sulfur, exhaust fumes, and polluted air. You work in conditions where, long ago, the damned were imprisoned. You are dying while still alive, crumbling to dust, rotting from the inside out. A steel city and a factory where you will one day die in oblivion. There are hundreds, thousands of you modern day slaves. In the name of progress, you cast more weapons that will kill in various corners of the world. You come home exhausted, and all you can manage is a few beers and brutal death metal. You need to clear your head with something that cleanses your mind of trivialities. Germany’s RESURRECTED from the industrial city of Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, are back, and once again their music is shattering bones left and right.
The history of this band dates back to 1993. Veterans like me surely remember their full-length debut, "Raping Whores". Go ahead and give it a listen and compare it to this year’s new release. In my humble opinion, these gentlemen have never strayed from their bloody path. Once again, they are raw, sharp, and uncompromising. They still kill with their music, and their songs exude a passion for darkness and utter human evil. It must be said right away that over time, these guys have never lost any of their intensity. They remain genuine, raw, wild, unbridled, and completely authentic. Like toxic substances in your city’s wastewater.
I also work in a large factory and know its rhythms all too well the cold machines, the people with their long dead stares. A crowd marching through the morning darkness. I am one of them, with the only difference being that I’m constantly hammering the new album "Perpetual" into my head under the pressure. The Germans have put all their experience to good use on it, and the new release strikes me as very morbid, yet elegant. It blends that old-school feeling with technical skill and absolute devotion to brutal death metal. The individual melodies and riffs are very well thought out; they possess the necessary drive, power, pent-up rage, and an ancient patina that, in my opinion, can’t be learned you have to have it within you; you have to play with your heart. If we were to talk about the sound, it’s appropriately massive, raw, yet also clear and doesn’t lack the necessary dark and cold atmosphere. Maybe one day a pack of rabid dogs on the outskirts of our city will tear me to pieces, but until that happens, I’ll keep listening to this record over and over again. It has everything I demand from this style, everything I want, and everything that soothes my twisted soul. It’s stripped down to the bone, getting to the very essence of extreme music. At the same time, it’s very well thought out, unrestrained, and evokes a lot of dark emotions in me. If you’re a fan of bands like CANNIBAL CORPSE, SUFFOCATION, MORBID ANGEL, MONSTROSITY, OBSCENITY, SINISTER, or VOMITORY, then I recommend turning the volume all the way up and letting yourself be swept into the depths. RESURRECTED are in great form this year I’d gladly sign that with my own blood. We’re dying alive, crumbling to dust, rotting from the inside out. Dark, raw, brutal death metal with a taste of rotten blood! An absolute massacre!
